TOTAL GLOW — General Admission

Opened May of 2024, DIMENSIONS features large-scale metal sculptures that explore the relationship between light and music, shadow and pattern, environment and form, creating an immersive audiovisual experience. It was designed by artist collective HYBYCOZO, the collaborative studio of artists Serge Beaulieu and Yelena Filipchuk, in cooperation with globally renowned musician Alen Hulsey, who performed and composed the 33-minute musical soundtrack primarily on the kanun. ​“DIMENSIONS was created to transport visitors to another world,” the artists say. ​“A place that transcends time and space by connecting the universal languages of geometry, light and music together.” They invite visitors to play with spinning interactive elements and notice how their own shadows become a part of the art as they move through the space.

Featuring 69 towers composed of more than 17,000 wine bottles, illuminated with glowing optic fibers whose colors evolve to an ethereal musical score, Light Towers pays tribute to the 200+ wineries and vineyards that blanket Paso Robles’ beautiful rolling hills. The exhibit opened in 2021. Each tower holds around more than 200 bottles and stands taller than a person, creating a forest-like effect for those strolling within. The colors of the lights shift in time with a score that combines the music of many nations for a worldly, transportive effect.

Fireflies is made up of nearly 10,000 points of white light that float and sway organically on optical fibers in the breeze. Artist Bruce Munro was inspired to create this whimsical exhibit by two of his favorite books, Kim by Rudyard Kipling and Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse. ​“It is my belief that light is a wonderful medium to connect mind, body and soul with the natural environment,” Munro said when the exhibit opened in 2023. ​“I hope this installation instills a sense of wonder and surprise to those that see it.”
